Forest County offers many outdoor recreation opportunities. The County owns 15,250.84 acres of forest land which the Forestry and Recreation Department maintains for sustainable forest management, wild life and recreation. We maintain 2 designated cross-country ski trails, 62 miles of ATV trails, over 400 miles of snowmobile trails and 80 miles of maintained logging roads for hunters, hikers, bikers, and any other outdoor enthusiasts.
